New Algorithm Vault will operate the same way as it always has with deposits, compounds and claims. Daily yields are between 0.01% and 0.25%, with up to 0.5% per day. To gain a boost on daily yields above the base rate of 0.01%, sMark needs to be locked.

• Yield boost is dependent on the mount of sMark locked and the lock period. Daily yield increases linearly as more sMark is locked.
  • 0 sMark locked = 0.01% daily yield.
  • 500,000 sMark locked = 0.25% daily yield.
• Users can increase their boosted daily yield though a multiplier, depending on the lock period.
  • 30 days = No multiplier
  • 60 days = 1.5x multiplier
  • 90 days = 2x multiplier

Upon a lock period expiring, ‘Deposit Without Boost’ button becomes a ‘Unlock’ button. The yield boost/multiplier will continue as long as the user does not unlock their sMark. Upon unlocking sMark, the yield boost/multiplier will end. A user can re-lock sMark to begin a new boost/multiplier.

Please note, when users making a new USDC deposit with a lock period, this will cause all previously locked sMark to be re-locked for the new lock period duration.
